Can it be done? I love the V lion, I also love the Radiata Lionfish. Can they be mixed? I was thinking a 125.

You will be fine, as said before it would be easier to add the radiata first, or make sure it is eating aggressively in QT before adding the volitan. Volitans try to eat all the food that goes into the tank, sometimes making it harder for smaller fish with the same diet to get enough food. My 2 large volitans even try to eat the mysis I put in for my other fish even though it is way to small for them.

Any two lions of compatable size usually are fine together. Just my opinion; but I think 2 of the same species just looks better---and I have no idea why. Maybe because there are so few larger fish we can keep in pairs/groups.

My 65 is on the hairy edge with just the frondosa and the volitan. If I didn't have the caulerpa farm I think I would be in trouble. And I'm running a Euroreef RC180 skimmer on it. Alot of food goes into that tank in a week. Those miles are big old brutes too. I really won't want that much nutrients in that amount of water/rock.
A 100g IMO is also too small for 2 adult Pterois'.,,, size wize. When they all move into their 240g, the miles will be mine
