I was just reading another thread on chemical warfare, any problems mixing these 2 together
and while my frog spawn and torch corals are doing great. my lfs thought it was strange to put them under PC's
what does anyone think?

Your frogspawn will do fine under pc's of appropriate wattage for your tank. Yes you can mix sps, lps, and softies. In my 46g. I keep a lot of sps at the top to keep away from softies and lps and then put the lps and softies in the middle and down to the bottom along with some clams.:D

The chemicals produced by softies will effect LPS corals but not to the extent of sps corals. I have a LPS/softie tank... everything is doing fine and growing well.

 cool info reefnut. so softies and lps cant be kept together?
i could have sworn i have seen a large aquarium with both. would that still be true in a 125 gallon fishtank?

No, they can be kept together!! Lots of people do. The chemicals let off by some softies can slow calcification but it doesn't seem to effect LPS corals all that bad IMO.
