Mixing water for 55 gallon and marineland c-360

Hi, Im going to pick up the salt today to mix the water for the tank. Im going to mix the water in the tank as I dont have enough buckets and there is nothing in the tank. I was going to run the hang on back pump with no filters to help mix the tank and I was wondering if I should run the canister filter with no filters in it to help mix the water. I was going to let it run for a day or so to let it mix before adding sand. I just ordered a maxijet 1200 but wont be here until thursday.

You could run tun the canister, or not. All you need is constant circulation. Be sure to add the water to the tank first, then the salt; never the reverse order. Freshly made salt water must sit overnight before use, although since there is no livestock in the system it doesn't really matter. But later, be sure to let it sit.
