Sox over Angels in 4-5 ( This will be the best 1st round series)
Indians over Yanks in 4 (Indians pitching to strong Yanks will have their lowest bat avg in the playoffs!)
Rocks over Phils in 5 (depends who's pitching is best, but neither will go any further but lots and lots of runs in this one)
D-backs over Cubs in 4 (Cubs are the Cubs and will find a way to lose)
Sox and D-backs in the series. Sox will win it all!

Cleveland v. Chicago world series... Indians win.
Red Sox win... yeah right. This isn't 2004.
Yankees played great at the end, but what happens when A-rod goes back into his hole in the playoffs.
National league... who cares? Real baseball includes the DH anyway. But I'll vote for the cubs because who doesn't love those losers... just keep the fans out of the way. Besides, Wrigley Field is a great place to see a game.

I'm a little late
NL Arizona and Colorado...D-Backs to the Series
AL NY and Cali (even though Bos is up in game 1)...NY to the series
D-Backs beat NY in the series...AGAIN

Beckett flat out DOMINATED last night!!!
I think the Sox will beat the Angels for sure, but the Yanks and Indians will be the closer of the 2 series. I have a feeling the Yankees will beat Cleveland in 5 games then lose to the Sox in the ALCS in 7 games. As far as National League goes I think that Arizona has a great team but not the experience in the post season. Im gonna go with Red Sox and Rockies in the World Series with the Sox winning.

Boston beats the Angels, Yanks beat the Indians. Boston get CRUSHED by the Yanks.
PHI beat COL (still like my chances) and Cubs beeat AZ. Cubs over PHI.
Yanks win number 27, end of story....???
BJOE - Aaron boone??????
Seriosusly, I love the rivalry. Even though it's very heated, I think we respect you guys the most out of any MLB fan. To me, the world series will be the 2nd round when, hopefully, we meet.

Being a Sox fan I really dont care that Boone hit that homer in 2003 because if he didnt 2004 wouldnt have felt as sweet as it did.

I see you Boston fans are a little sensative... I understand why, it's tough trying to compare yourself to the all-time best.
Before you beat me to it, yes I saw the game tonight, and was we got our arses whooped. On to game 2. I'm rooting for you guys because it'll be a great series if we both make it.

this would be perfect. for the indians it would be great since we'd have to go through ny and boston to get there.
it'd be a good story esp since indians haven't won since 1954 or something like that and cubs haven't won since 1908 or something crazy like that.
it was funny tonight because my annoying brother in law in ny made my phone ring after the damon homer in the first. (reminiscent of the constant phone ringing during the nba finals; and he isn't even a spurs fan - just an ahole)
anyway, the phone didn't ring after the first inning today.

the DH is real baseball??? the DH was introduced in the late 1960's and made a rule for the AL in 73... the game goes atleast 100 years prior...
go INDIANS!!!
GO BRAVES!!!

notice how u guys are down 2-0 against a team u went 6-1 against? Do u smell a little 2004 choke? this time they cant even win 1 game.
Best of all time when you could actually win a game against the indians

a little late to join this thread, but I think the Indians will beat the Rockies 4 games to 2 in the World Series.
P.S. Still praying for the year that the Yankees don't make the playoffs!

I agree with Crimzy and I live in an NL city...Pitchers hitting stinks...Even though we have Micah Owings (great hitting pitcher)......Go D-Backs!!!
