Mods for 14 inch Bio Cube

Folks - can we have a forum of all the mods that bc owners have done and we can have as a reference. I bought a 15 gal. heater for mine, but i am not sure where to hide it.
Will Chemclean get rid of green hair algae?

I have had a heater in the first chamber before. However, when I upgraded my powerhead to a MJ1200 I found it produced enough heat to keep the DT at 80 to 82. I am looking to downgrade the powerhead to a MJ900, the 1200 is a little too strong for my BC14.

I have the BC14 and put in a MJ900 and it puts out alot of flow and didn't raise the temp at all.
I have also done a few other things to my BC. I put in a third 24w bulb, trimmed the overflow from Chamber1 to Chamber 2 to allow the tank to hold more water in Chamber2 and 3. I took out all the media that came with it and put live rock rubble in the 2nd chamber. The heater I have is a 50w stealth and it fits in the 1st chamber. I also put filter floss on the drip tray in chamber 2. The retun out let I replaced with loc line that has two nozzles.
I have only had it cycling for a few days, but I love it so far.

liverock, how did u put in a 3rd light? im trading for a 14 biocube and i was tryin to find out how to mod the lighting. is there a way to mod to get 2 t5 bulbs in there? and can u tell me how to put the 3rd bulb in there. thanks
