Mods Have Question

Hi, I have been on these boards for a little over a yr now, and they have been great. I have learned so much. My question is, how can we start a new forum. I am getting ready to start a Seahorse tank, and have seen several post by people who have them. It would be nice to get everyone together on one forum to share info and experiance.

I second this! A sea horse (and other pipe fish) forum would be great! Especially since they have different needs than regular fish/aquariums.

yeah we dont need them ,there seahorses keepers on our fisheez forums.

I like this idea as well. Since using the search feature for seahorses everyday is a pain and sucks up an extra 2 minutes of my life.

I like this idea as well. I sure could of used a seahorse forum when I started my seahorse tank a few months back.

I forgot to add, I also really like the idea of a forum for mandarins and special feeding needs.
Also, their is a site about seahorses that is excellent but we aren't allowed to post the link...

It's certain that here we can not cater to every specialty need, but most of what I'm hearing can be covered under different forums. If its about a fish then fish forum. Feeding in reef forum, I really don't know of anyone around here that is qualified for seahorses, but I know some of you good folks keep them. I'm sure a good Google search would serve with plenty of options for seahorse keepers. Question would be just how many seahorse keepers are there here. But the idea to expand our forums isn't a bad one at all.
If we were to get another forum what would you guys think would be more important.
Seahorse or perhaps a Water Chemistry forum? How about splitting into a Coral forum either general or SPS, LPS, softies etc..?
I'm not condeming the seahorse idea, just kicking others around.

its a local reefer group im in, but we have other outsiders that join in too.. never hurts to join.. its a totally separate part for seahorses and pipefish!
btw, u could also put grim reefer down as your referral
