Mods-question...

I'm still fairly new here, so I'm not sure if this has been discussed in the past of not. Forgive me, if it has.
I was curious as to why we have no "private messaging" system (PMs).
Not really a big deal...I was just curious. This is the only board, that I can think of, that doesnt have a PM system.

This forum is supported by saltwaterfish.com, and (I am not trying to be mean, just don't how else to explain it) they would like us to stay on topic of fish, and inverts, and would not like us referring people to other commercial sites. It would be very difficult for the mods to keep track of all the pms that went through daily. Their may not even be a program that allows them to moniter pm's.

Generally, it is felt that if people want to talk privately, they can use Instant Messaging. As this is a SWF forum, to discuss fish amoung all of us, then the feature is disabled here. PMs take up space and doesn't benefit the BB discussion forum.
