I don't know if all the mollies adapt well to full salt. But the sailfins sure do. I have a very soft heart for all fish and would not put a pair in the tank as they multiply like rabbits and I just cannot watch other fish eat them. So this is why I just have the one male. He is beautiful.
For the short time I have had this molly in my tank I can say they are great at eating all algae. This guy goes constantly at the glass, live rock etc. Does a great job too.
Would they get along with perc clowns ones asks I don't know that as I have a very shy firefish that is coming out more and more since the molly introduction but, I say but I have a very mean aggressive Yellow Watchman Goby whom does not like anything in his tank. The molly is fine as he moves fast, but I do think now he was the one that killed my perc a while ago.
I think the Molly would be fine with the clowns but I don't know for sure.
Please clarify, do you suspect the goby killed the perc, or the mollie killed the perc?
