Molting

When shrimp molt, do you leave the skelton in the tank or take it out. Will it decompose or will other things eat it?

Do you have any type of cleanup crew like hermits, or crabs. If so they will most likely take care of the shell for you. I normally leave it in the tank and within a couple of days its gone.

i usually leave it in the tank also. its usually gone in a day or 2 and makes good food for your pods and other critters

I also leave it. My clean up crew takse care of it for me. I have read also that it helps add calcium back into your water as well. HTH
