i would like to know some tank sizes and estimates on the amount of $ you have put in, also what type of tank it is? just a poll , everyone welcome, lets see how many tanks we can account for, big or small saltwater or fresh, reef or not. they say sailing is expensive but what about a salt water tank?

180 gallin reef tank. I had about 9,000 in it including all the mistakes I made.
 
120 Gallon - And ill take a stab at around $4000, including the upgrade from the 55 gallon and all the "items of the hour" bought.

72 bowfront mixed coral reef here. Probably $3500 - $4000 invested to this point, including mistakes. I dont have an exact figure because I dont want my wife to see it.:D

well one good thing is fish tanks is theif is a tad more difficult :) so you dont have to worry about .. then again who would think about stealing a muffler (ryebreads)

Already owned tank,stand, lighting, and 90% of filtration and still managed to throw $4800into 85 gals of reef water.... and I hate paying $3 for a gal of milk!
And I'm headed to the lfs today!

55 gallon with about 2000-2500 so far and another 1000 on earrings to keep my wife off my back.

29 gallon, around 1700 or so. That's counting mistakes along the way.

between all the tanks 3000.00 this is without livestock or lighting
all included around 5500.00........and I havent even got started on buying corals yet............WAY TO MUCH!!!!!!I think I keep the LFS in buisness they know be by first name of course I am in there almost every day of the week ;-)
but wouldnt give it up for anything LOL

I've got about $2500 invested in a 150. Along way to go to get it how I want it, but slowly getting there. How depressing!
