so i started a 10g tonight. this is a "budget found around the house" nano tank. it use to be a QT tank but not any more. i thought i took a empty tank pic to start yall off with but i guess not, so iam sorry. no live rock or fish as of yet. that would kill the whole diary suprise! but here are 2 pics and a list of equipment.
-left over 5% window tint (cut/spliced to fit)
-10g tank w/established water from 55g
-the HOB filter that came with the tank filled with established ceramic rings
-factory hood modded to fit larger bulbs and keep them kool
-2 27w bulbs
-15lbs live argonite
-50w heater
-sticker thermometer
i think thats it so now on with the pics
just added the sand

well i have a 55g that is my main focus this is just a "budget build" and all i have are 2 23 watt pc daylights that you can get from HD. but i plan on starting out simple to see how the lights work zoo's, shrooms, rics and such.

Just a suggestion but I would not let the corner hang off the table like that, added stresses on that corner may eventually cause a problem with the sealing. Otherwise let's see her go!!!

thats is a good idea.
just to let yall know i have added a lil rock and a 3 stripe damsel just to help incase i have a mini cycle. i have been out of town for about a week so. so hopefuly ill have some pics tonight

well here are some more pics. my company just got downsized and i was a casualty. so iam not thinkin this tank is gonna be what i wanted it to be. i might just make it a zoa/shroom tank unless i can find some other cool stuff my lights can support. well anyway here are some pics. comments/suggestions???
