Monkeys

Does anyone know anything about monkey shrimp? Are they reef safe?

I'm assuming you're not referring to the "Sea Monkeys" I had as a kid and sometimes still feed my fish. Saron marmoratus is sometimes referred to as a Monkey Shrimp. These guys, though beautiful, are rumored to eat clams and corals.

Thats the guy. Anyone have any experience with them? I dont have any coral yet or clams but I do have a scallop so I'll have to keep an eye on them.
