Well, i have declared to myself that i am addicted to that yummy stuff. I drink about 30 fl oz. every day and sometimes every other day. I know this is not something to be proud of or a good thing but its true. Before school in the morning my bus stop is near a gas station, so i walk the 50 yards and grab a good 28 fl oz. monster before school. But the thing is, they dont even give me energy! They somehow relax me in a way. But I guess it is better then smoking. I guess im an average teen drinking that stuff all the time. lol i hate all of them except the green, red, and orange ones.
I am so addicted to the stuff that my computer screen, is monster. I have about 40 cans laying in my room. I have a monster jacket. I collect the can tabs. haha im weirdd.

Ewww...I can't stand Monster or pretty much any energy drink. The smell makes me nauseous. I can manage to drink red bull and vodka, tho.

If there's one thing these companies, Monster, AMP, Rockstar, are good at, it's marketing. They know their target segment, males 15-30, and are big into popular sports. X-Games and Auto Racing. In fact, I don't think there's a form of motorsport that doesn't have them involved. Everything from CORR stadium trucks, to NASCAR to drifting, to rally (GO BLOCK!)
I keep a pack of Monsters in the fridge. They help the morning after a party night

So a high caffeine drink relaxes you? I assume you are like high school age. Do you have any issues with your weight? I ask because caffeine has no effect on me either but if I smell food I gain weight. My metabolism sucks.

I've been addicted to them for the last 7-8 years since they came out back in 2003 (I think). I still have one every morning. I'm not a coffee person. I'm trying to ween myself off of them. Years past, I used to drink about 3-16oz cans a day durring the summer months. But then I got to the point where if I didn't have one on schedule then I would get a headache. Not sure if it's the caffine so much as it is the 56 grams of suger per 16oz can. I can only drink the origional green ones. The first time I had one I actually thought it was the worst thing I ever tasted. The second time was when we were working one hot summer day out in the middle of no where and my mouth was as dry as a desert and my co-worker offered me one. At that point I didn't care what it tasted like as long as it was wet. So at that point in time I thought it was the greatest thing I'd have had and it was on from then.

I HATE Monsters.
NOS is awesome though.
Not addicted at all though.
Maybe 1 or 2 every 2 months.
I also like red bulls.
I have a cup of coffee every morning.

nos is what makes me jumpy and hyper. I think its also the only thing. Venow tastes like salsa to me..ew...and rockstart is gross. Especially the rockstar cola. The can is cool but it tastes horible!

funny I found this thread, my wife was just telling me today about an ex-co-worker she ran into at the gym today. he's going to be 23 in a couple of months and he just had a heart attack. Turns out he drinks coffee in the AM before work and then a monster on the way to work and one for lunch and one or two after work.
23 years old and they are wanting to put him on a pacemaker.
I'm a chronic Pepsi drinker so it would be hypocrytical of me to say much, but I just never understood the whole energy drink kick.

I had issues with a irregular heat beat that started like 5 years ago. Cut out caffeine and the pain pills. Didn't make a difference. Ended up being a combination of not enough physical activity (I am disabled) and too much regular alcohol drinking. Used to have a couple drinks every evening, usually not even enough to catch a buzz. But a few months after quitting I noticed I wasn't having the heart beat issues any more. I am one of those people who can feel it when the beat is mildly off. I guess almost everyone has these episodes but never know it unless it is severe. What was funny is 3 different docs said they doubted the booze was the problem. They all thought caffeine was the most likely thing that would make a difference if anything.
