ok my 1000 post, her it is, my Montipora capricornis has a little bit of bleaching any ideas nothingin the tank has changed i have had it about 2 months..
1.023ish salt

amm---0
2x400 mh 20k, its in pretty good water flow, its on the right side thaks

Specific gravity should be slowly raised to 1.026 in my opinion.

on posting calcium and alkalinity.

calcium is 400 i will test the hardness and get back...as far as feed marine snow 3 times a week essitial elements 1 day the stroium mag...one day and coralvite on another day and i use c-balance 4 times a week

sorry one more thing its in the middle top of the tank with 2x400w mh 20k is that to high???

I agree 1.026 for a reef tank.

I must agree 1.024-1.027 optimum for reefing (helps keep all your concentrations higher) 24 being on the lowest end.

thanks how do i get the ka down and should it come down slowly??? i assume yes but you know what happens when you assume

It looks browned out, but not bleached. The browning could be caused by anything stress-related. In this case the most apparent would be high alk and low SG, but those aren't the only possibilites.
What is the alk and Ca of the new water you use for water changes? You may need to just slow down with the alk buffer.
Do you have a protein skimmer?

i have a protein skimmer i use c-balance, we have very hard water in ohio...but i buy my r/o from lfs, here are a few pics from yesterday
