Yes they are one watt but u can spread them like 24 inches apart and they look pretty kool. Kinda weird but its looks very realistic.

Okay, I am confused, I have the T5 lights which have 4 white lights and 4 blue lights and at night when all go off there are 2 little pin point white lights. Are these two little lts moon lights, what are the blue ones??? I know this sounds like a dumb question but new to the hobby and loving it.

Yes they are the 2 little lights they are very small and dont put off much light just enough to reflect the moon.

And you think it's the light from the moon that does this?
Not the fact that the gravity of the moon is so great that it causes the tides.
So if it's cloudy for the whole moon cycle does this cause problems?
Moonlights for aquariums are for the aquarist benefit.
I need to add a setup to my hood, I might actually see my nocturnal shrimp for once.
They really add to the look of an aquarium in my opinion, and the cheaper set-ups are pretty cheap compared to everything else in our hobby.
