Moonlighting (maybe this one will work!)

I just installed a Moonlight on my tank and I was wondering how long to leave it on for? Also, should I have it come on as soon as the other lights go out or wait a little while?
Thanks, Frank

Here is a picture. I bought this over the moonbeams because it was smaller and a little cheaper.

Hey Plum70rt
How long is your tank?
It does seem that the moonbeams may be brighter. I only bought one to try. I'll see how I like it.

i went out and got the hi-light LED system for my little 20 gallon tank, and i must say that they work great...the only beef i have with them is that if you point the led down into the tank, you get more of a spotlight effect than i want so insetead i angle the lights up so they hit my reflector and then bounce back down into the water..very cool though....i leave mine on all night, untill my normal lights come on!
good luck

OK, when I saw a 262 gal tank, I figured it for an 8 footer. If it is just over 5, then I think my moonlights are comparable in intensity. I am going to get another one soon. It looks really cool!
