Moonlights and lighting times

I ordered a IceCap 45.2 Inch LED Moonlight Retro 470nm Tube w/ Power Supply to supplement my T5's. I'm currently running my T5's for 10 hours a day. How many hours before and after that is it safe to run the "Moonlight's"?
Is there a certain amount of time that is needed with no light's at all? I've read everything from you need 8 hours of complete dark to you can run moonlights 24/7.

So you are running lights 24/7? This is what it seems you are saying, but you could have a dark period in there and still accomplish what you are saying.

Tur4k, can you post a pic of just the icecap led lightbar on, and a photo of just one t5 actinic on?
Is the led close the the brightness of one t5 bulb?
I'm in Miami also, Thanks!

I'll be able to post a pic of the icecap when it arrives. I can't do a single actinic. My Wave point retro fixture doesn't have separate power for individual bulbs. The two actinic's and two daylights are all either on or off :(

I was told the ocean reefs are never totally dark. I have a master timer, when the actinic go off the moonlights go on. So my daylight is 12 hours and my night is 12 hours.
