I do have to emphasize that it is often NOT HARD AT ALL to get them to eat, and they still mysteriously die at about the 1 year mark. So it is important to look for LONG TERM success rather than just a few months. Variety in the diet is absolutely critical. Not just brine, flake, etc (though they may very well eat that) but formulations with sponge, etc. That is a common trap, and people get comfy thinking they did fine. I think that sw65galma has a tank to give it a try...really anything less, IMO, is too small to even consider one of these fish.

Also too the size of the fish doesn't play a role in you needing a smaller tank.
You need a LARGE system of water so that your water stability is perfect. My water never fluctuates
Temp only changes in tenth of degrees and salinity only changes in thousandths.
Just because you have a smaller fish doesn't mean you can have it in a smaller tank.

The only person I have read about that has had any success{besides sw65galma} is a person who's tank has been up for like 33 years and he dives to collect sponge for his Idol.As many boards as I have read on...for three years now..that makes two people.
