Not helping....I told you how to feed your fish. Isn't that the original question you posted?
Calm down and reread my last post, it tells you how to feed your fish.

There is no help available to this poor fish. He is going to die and it probably will in the very near future. If you really care about this fish then return it now.
This fish has no chance... why do people do this just because the fish is $40? To claim that it's ok because someone else had one in a worse environment is no excuse. In a 300 gallon reef the odds are still against it.
What a waste of a beautiful fish.
BTW, a yellow tang would live much longer in a 46 gallon then a moorish idol.

These guys aren't trying to make you mad, but you've got to understand most have done the research before buying their fish. It's true you can go to your LFS and they may have a very low priced exotic fish. OK, think...why is someone selling a $80+ dollar fish for $40? Several reasons the biggest being that in his small show tank at the store (most are 10 0r 15 gallon) That fish isn't going to last a month. So, sell the fish at a reduced price and let it die in their tank, he's still made $40 and you've lost $40. Really though the 46 gallon tank is too small for the Idol or the Yellow tang. It's hard not to buy a beautiful fish, especially one that's on sale, but like it's said above always do some research.

Good Luck.

blend it all up and use a turkey baster or similar --be creative and keep us updated if you dont take him back. try not to stress him out even more ..

Like if I were to say my tiger shark is getting a little cramped in my 90G, what should I do? It's a post to get people worked up and basically to make fun of them. If you notice it also progresses to include another fish that would be considered to small(the yellow tang). Once again it's to re-ignite everyone and keep the troll going. Also he gets VERY offensive, someone who doesn't know any better and then comes looking for help here wouldn't be so rude. I've seen it a hundred times. I give it a 7 outta 10, not bad, but I've seen much better. It's also known as "fishing" and in this case, the poster hooked a good many of you lol.

Yes we are helping. Take the fish back or give it to soemone who knows what they are doing. If you know it is expert only and needs a huge tank, what were you thinking?
What is with these people and LFS' with moorish idols? It seems like it is weekly thread now. Why don't people research BEFORE they buy?
Hopefully this person is just a stupid troll. The only reason that I would think he was not because he already has 168 posts. Usually, the trolls will have under 50 posts or be repeated trollers.

I certainly think this person is a troll on this one.
Hit the major things:
Lettuce
Krill
(totally inappropriate diets)
46g tank (totally inappropriate tank size)
The classic "I knew a guy who had one in a 46g..." line.
What a pity. If you have this fish, I hope you return it (you will lose the $40 for sure otherwise).
If you don't actually have this fish, and its a joke, then don't expect a whole lot of help in the future.
