Is this in the same tank as the candy cane? If so, what changed to make this difference?

Yes it is....WELL....within the last few months I have purchased a hurricone (massive) skimmer, a phosphate reactor, I cut out a lot of the vitamins, cut down on feeding, and feed H20Life pro variety, and the H20 life coral food....along with algae sheets of course and the occasional flake or pellet treat (I have a bunch of it)
I switched to IO reef crystals
and I think that is it.....Maybe after all this time my tank is mature and happy and healthy

I will have to take some more comparison pics one day

LOL...when it comes time for a frag I will let you know...
My spotted mushrooms are not looking so great,....they are still teeny....BUT I have 3 in a small container that I think have attached to some small rubble.....I am going to place them in different areas (eventually)

since we are bragging about growth, when I got my xenia, it was attached to a shell and had 2 heads. It is now in 2 seperate pieces, not attached to that shell and has 5 heads. The dragon eye has sprouted more polyps but hasnt really gotten big. I know xenia grows like a weed, but atleast somethign is growing in my tank.

Looks good Meowzer. Its funny cause everytime that I do a water change (yes, I use reef crystals) I could swear that my monti's and birdsnest grow overnight! New little white tips on the birdsnest, and a white ring of new growth on the montis.....i think they like it...LOL..

Pink?!?!?! wheres the pink?
Purpleish/blueish is more like it. Either way, i like them lots. Ship me the rock plox! LOL
LOL...that rock holds up the whole center of my aquarium.....BUT when you order from SWF...look in the frag section....

I think their $99 with free shipping goes on till midnight
But i have to go get the wife's new grooming van this weekend and will probably spend close to $400 in gas just getting that thing home. Not counting the airfare to get to atlanta nor the food and whatnot that goes with the 17-18 hour drive i have ahead of me. Believe me, if I had the $100 laying around, AND we didnt have coral coming in on wednesday, I would be all over the $100 and free shipping.

Well now I have 3 frags of my purple capricornis

2 are decent over 1"...1 is about 1/2" The cap started to slide, so we thought we woul epoxy the bottom....:( these are very fragile, so when the pieces came off I glued them to frag plugs....lights went out then... :(
And I have no one near me
