Here is my tank. My husband built it for me last summer. It has been up for 18 months now. About the only corals I have tried are star polyps. I got my first toad stool and colt coral this week. I am starting to venture out.

No flash on my camera. I need something to do today. It is a rainy friday and everyone else is playing golf.

Well it is a 125, I have a custom made filter and skimmer that I hate. My LFS makes built in filters and skimmers, but we are trying to figure out how to take is out with out makeing a big mess and doing something different. So far no luck. The back is drilled for the plugs. I have had no problems with it i just dont like it. I was new and clueless. I have 4 fans built into the top of the canapy they go on when the temp startes to rise and turn off when it gets back to normal. I have 550 watts of VHO lights. They are set to turn off when the canapy is raised. Since everything is built in under is all storage.
Now I really need to buy some corals I guess I have just been chicken
Thanks I am glad you like it. It is kind cool. He said it has flaws but it is made with love. Which means dont even think of telling me you want a bigger one.
I do have two others in the house also.

Beth,
It took 4 months and a lot of nagging on my part. But he does really like to do it. As long as you have lots of time.

Beautiful. I will be getting married in March and then we will be moving. I plan to set up a 180 reef in our house and hopefully I can find someone to help me do some great woodworking like that. Good job.....................raining here as well.:(

It worked..... I know not the best thing I could do. But I got the stand and everything done just in time.
