Morron clowns stripes fading?

Ever since we gave him an anenome, hys stripes went from gold to a dull brownish color, any thoughts on why?

Not sure, but every clown I have had from perc to my marons, have faded a bit once they found an anenome. Have had long conversations with people over diet, sexual changes, health, you name it. But can never really figure out why.

maroons fade once they get older. if it is a mature fish then that might be the issue.

His maroon color hasn't faded, just his stripes, but only when he's in his anenome mostly, the fading comes and goes :notsure:

It disn't look like a powder coating on the fish dose it?

Nah, looks more like when a car sits in the sun for a long time and the color starts to fade, not flaking off, just fading like my tatoo did after awhile lol. I will try to get a pic tomorrow, but he moves so fast, they come out blurry.
