For bands before I was born I definitely agree with the Beatles!!
For after I was born, Nirvana. They were OK but they weren't all that. Flame me now, it's ok.

Good call!! Both bands had a revolutionary sound when they came out. But from a stand point of musicians, they weren't impressive. Kurt Cobain played guitar like a drunk baby with broken fingers.

Definitely Nirvana! I once heard Kurt Cobain being compared to Jimi Hendrix and I almost threw up!
Also, Green Day and U2 are high up on my list..

green day!!! When American idiot was out...OMG people drove around with that blasting out of their car. I couldn't go through a day w/o hearing them at least 5 times.
Fall Out Boy. They were awesome when no one new them and they played in bars for fun. Now they are really bad, and EVERYONE listens to their happy emo pop music. (didn't think it was possible to be happy and emo, but everyone claims to be emo )

Almost every band out now sucks bad. U2 is by far my most hated band ever. I cant stand that guy even the sight of him pisses me off. And then green day joined them in their lameness. Every emo crap band out now. Fall out boy, Panic at the disco is maybe even worse. Hawthorne heights. I cant even think of how many copies of eachothers badness exists right now. What happened to real good metal? TOdays spin on things is just horrible. I hope Metallica's New CD is good. They are retuning the snare and bringing back solos so that is a good sign. Come on James GO BACK IN TIME MAN!

Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, and Lenerd Skynard (no clue how to spell it) i listened to a Pink Floyd song once... couldnt stand to listen to anymore after the first 15 seconds

I happen to like Skynyrd, it's a southern thing I guess, but I never thought there was enough hype surrounding them for them to be considered OVER rated. I guess that maybe that falls into the category of a backhanded compliment
