I guess I missed it when I saw atrocities such as NBA, MLB, and SOCCER hit the top tens... Made my blood boil. Most professional players arent in it for the game anyway. I'd rather watch 3rd graders play football from the parking lot looking through binoculars than sit on the players bench during an NBA game.
1. NFL
2. UFC/Mixed Martial Arts (please dont include boxing in this category)
3. Nascar
4. Golf
5. 3rd Grade football
-End of List-

NFL
College Football
Boxing (thought the heavyweight fight last night was pretty anti-climatic)
MMA
College Basketball
That's about all I watch as far as sports.
NBA and MLB rank so low I can't even put them on the list. I do occasionally watch them during the playoffs........

1) NFL...hands down the best!
2) NBA...not what it used to be but still exciting
3) MMA...quickly becoming one of my favorite events.
4) Golf...like the courses and appreciate the skill
5) MLB...Ok during the playoffs but otherwise it's rather dull
6) Soccer...Enjoy the Premier league but everything else is boring
7) Boxing...hit or miss...usually miss
8) Hockey...yikes, what happened?
ARE YOU KIDDING??? How can you not watch hockey? It never stops. More action than any other sport, other than professional MMA fighting. I played 11 years of ice hockey, right wing, and I was a bad dude back then. My list would be the same as your's just up-side-down.

1. Golf- my son played on the '05 and '06 Oklahoma 5A state champion Ardmore Tigers team
2. Hockey- so much speed and grace. Modano on a 1-1 rush is a thing of beauty
3. UFC
4. Supercross
5. NASCAR
6. College football- most D1 elite teams are the same as professionals aren't they

7. NFL
I can hardly force myself to watch MBL and NBA, both have really sunken to the bottom IMO, and thats from a former athlete with college offers in both sports.
BTW- Golf being defined as a sport, I think, depends on if you are talking about competive or recreational golf.
A 72 hole championship Tournament drains you both mentally and physically.
But a friendly weekend round is a great stress reliever for me!

Actually, I was born in Oakland and grew up in the East Bay Area, so Oakland has always been my team, and as far as the 49ers go, they have always been my second best team because they were right across the bay. A lot of people only go for one or the other, but I could never understand that concept, especially because they're in different conferences. Not to mention that when my son was going through his cancer treatments at UCSF when he was only 12 (now 21), the 49ers brought him and my husband to a game against Atlanta down on the field. Keena Turner and his wife are on the Board of Directors at the Family House where we stayed during this time. Same with the Giants. Larry Baer's wife is on the board, too. Extremely good people. Murph, the Giants equipment manager, even made my son a jaw protector for his helmet, to use as he was playing baseball during school. His tumor when removed also took part of his jaw. Anyway, just wanted to let you know there's bandwagon jumping here!
