Motionless Clarkii clown

I have a clownfish that is lying motionless on the bottom. I also ordered him from this site and I understand that the acclimation takes so time and that is normal behavior, but he doesnt appear to be breathing or moving his fins at all. I appears dead in fact a hermit crab was on him. I moved the crab but dont want to touch the fish. He was just acclimated then dropped in the tank with the last 1-1.5 hours. Could he be dead. The other eight fish are fine and seem to be acclimating beteer than expected.

What are your water prameters, what size of tank, does it have ick, and did you put all 9 fish in at the same time.

I have not checked anything today, they were fine yesterday, yes all nine fish entered at the same time. They were my first so I cant imagine I have ick. My tank is 75 gallons.

It probably has something to do with adding all those fish at the same time. Should only add to the most 2 fish at a time then wait 1-2 months before adding more. Adding all 9 fish at the same time would change the bioload a ton and could stress out your fish. Could you tell me the names of all the fish you added.

Ya that Clarki clown definately died. I am returning him to this site. He lasted all of one hour in the tank. I pryed him away from an emerald crab. All the other fish are just fine. I added 4 percula clowns, 3 now 2 clarki clowns, one yellow tang, and a green dragonnet.
