Moving 75 gal tank, need water info

Moving tank and need to remove about 3/4 water. There are 2 tangs and I don' t want to loose them. How and what water should I put in the tank? Should the tangs be removed? :help:

are you moving the tank just alittle bit or completely out of the area?
either way all fish and water should be removed from the tank to move it if not you risk the tank shattering as the water shifts!!

Tank will be moved to another house. Exact same setup. No other existing tank to put fish.

my suggestion would be to see if your LFS could hold them for alittle while till the tank is reset back up and I would keep an inch or so of the sand off the top and discard the rest and take everything out of the tank and reset back up. moving it with anything it risks the tank shattering which isnt good,

Thanks, what about the water? Should I try and put back some of the removed water or all new.

if you can save it I would but if not then just make up so new ahead of time where the tank is going to be setup atleast 24 hours before hand.
