Hey I got a crocea clam about 2" long ang georgeous! Problem is is that where I put him he wiggled his way down the rock some and now is firmly attached!! And he did it in just 24hrs! Is there anyway to get his foot off so I can move him up? I don't want to hurt him but I want him in a safer place, he is near the edge of the rock and one side is about 1/2" from the side of the rock. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

shoudn't move it at all. I have a sebae anemone that moves around sooo much. I moved him twice and always goes to the same place

Thanks guys that is what I thought, not going to try to move him.
Larry, I don't think moving the rock will help because he just out on the end of it. Oh well I figure in the wild they do this and survive so I will watch and see how he does.

He wedged himself into the rock for protection. He has made his home - move the rock if you have to. Amazing that he did it in just one day!
Also, it sounds like he's quite small. When they're that small they need to be fed regularly - light isn't enough for them!

Dmitry, yes he is quite small about 2" and so is my Maxima, they both attached to the rock in less than 24hrs! I was told they do better on rock so I put them where I wanted them and the Crocea wiggled down the rock and the Maxima up the rock. I am just wondering how they will grow where they are. They have room but it looks kinda ackward. Not real happy with where the Maxima went, just visually, doesn't show off his color as well. If anyone knows how to get them to release please tell me. I didn't know if they would do as well in the sand, but have seen pics of other peoples in the sand, so I am wondering if I could have left them in the sand. And yes I feed them DT's every other day right now. Thanks for the input.
