Bought a bubble tip awhile back and it decided to rest in the back of my tank.It is healthy eats and looks just like the one on swf , but now not only can I not see it from the front but now my 2 clowns are not to be seen until feeding time. What can I do to bring it out to the front or side?

I've had a Heteractis Magnifica (Ritteri) for 14 months now and it sits at the top of the glass in a corner. My clowns are leashed to it- also 14 months old. I have tried everything to keep it on a rock but nothing works. They get what they want-and it will go over anything to get to that corner!

You can try changing some things around in your tank. Maybe move a powehead either at it or if there is one blowing on it take it away. Its possible that may be enough change to make it want to find another location. If your anem looks like the one on this site its a tad bleached as the pic on this site is too. Getting it into the light is essential.

They know where to go in the tank, My gbta moved to the back of my tank along with my beautiful gold stripe clown. It happens.

My BTA moved around a lot before it finally found his spot, in the back of my tank!
Then it split and I figured ok, maybe the second one would move to the front.....NOPE! They are both back there but at least I can see the top of their tentacles. As far as my two clowns, they won't go near either one so go figure.

I have a rbta that i moved not too long ago. Get a powerhead and BLAST it with flow. when it starts to move he'll loosen up his footing. When he does, take your index finger and slowly peel the remainder of his foot off the rock. Be firm, but VERY VERY CAREFUL!!! (I've heard that they die if their foot gets damaged). Once you have him completely removed, place him on a rock where you want him. He might move a little within the first 24hrs or so, but if you're lucky, he should stay in the general area. good luck.

One of my BTA is on the prowl too. It has been in the same hole in this rock since I bought it 6 months ago. Then it split and the new one found a hole on the other side of this rock. Now the main one is non the prowl. Last night it was on the top of the rock then on the side now it seems to want the same place as the little one is......

The rock is huge with lots of other holes but no, it wants that one. I guess I will see in a few days what the outcome is of this situation.

thats so weird, cuz mine barely roams at all. I've only tried to move him twice and both times he staryed in the general area.
