Moving Fish Advice

I have a pajama cardinal in my aggressive tank which has been in the tank for over 6 months. Only 3 weeks under my observation though. I'm thinking of moving him to my reef tank soon as when his tank mates (picasso, valentini puffer, flame angel) start growing he will probably be hassled. Right now the pajama is twice as big as the others.
Anyway, I'm a firm believer in quarantining but if I see him healthy for a month or so I figure he'll be just as healthy in the reef tank.
I maintain the SG a little lower in the FOWLR than in my reef but the ph is the same. I figure as long as I slowly acclimate the pajama cardinal the transfer should be fine.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

If the fish is does not have to travel it makes it easyer to acclimate, if the salt content is way different I would accilmate him a little in a seperate container so he will get used to the new saltinty, but i would not go crazy.
