first off it sucked!!!
second i had a deep sand bed of 4'' and when i moved the tank there was a bit of an odor from the sand...and the tank... i've had a problem with hair algea... so i thought that might be it. Not sure if anyone knows what it might be... or if it's just normal. It never smelled when it was full. I'm working on the hair algea by changing the water over to RO water and i'm adding some more power heads... i'll also be putting in a lawnmower blenny.
Right now i have my live rock in a trash can...yes clean ;) I'm thinking i'll starve the hair algea with no light for a couple of days... i do have a heater in there also.
