I have a 100 gal glass w/corner overflow and stand for $100.

I have a small change of plans...I am now going to be taking my tank with me it is 35 or 40 galloons...my friend said I sould try and get as much of the water with me, I can move some of it is 5 gallon buckets, but what do else do I need to do. how long does the new water need to cycle, what do I do with the fish while Im waiting? Also...when I do get a new tank how much is a whole system if I get another 30 to 40 gallon tank, where should I get it from, online or a store?
