Moving to new House.

Finally moving into a house from living into a mobile home. I have read and read about moving a tank and i am very nervous about the move. Here is my thoughts, tell me what you think. My brother in-law is moving into my trailor and i can keep the tank setup here while i move. I have a 29gal tank and plan on moving some water from a water change to the 29 in the new house and letting it setup for a few weeks with some of my LR. Then i plan on moving my fish and inverts into the 29. Then i will move my 90gal with water ,sand, and the rest of my LR and leave it setup for a few weeks to make sure levels don't spike. Then transfer everything over.
What do you guys think and what else can you recommend?

That sounds like it would work, but may be more work than you need to do. Also, I'm a little confused...is the 90 gal tank new or currently set up? Which tank are the inhabitants currently in?

i've done it twice with a 55 gallon tank i just bagged everything up and put them in rubbermaid containers no need for all the switching as long as your LR stays in the water for 99.9 percent of the time.
Drain some water till the level in the tank meets the rocks then quickly pull them out into the containter holding the drained water and so on and so forth. my lion/trigger/blenny/starfish were nice and healthy after being in half filled gallon ziplocks for about 5 hours...

My dad just brought another idea to my attention. What about i have a used 75 can i set it up at the new house with water and my LR and put my fish in it. then move my other tank?. I am worried about only being able to use my emperor 400 as a filter until the 90 is set back up and not having enough bioload from the filter?
The 90 has been up and running for 7 months.
I have 2 clownfish, blue/green chromis, purpleback, and 40 hermits and a couple turbo's.
