Find good homes for your livestock. Considering how road trips can be these days its probably best that all your concentration go toward getting yourself there alive.
Break down the tank and start new. Its not all bad. Some of those setup mistakes that were made on the first go around can now be avoided. You may even be able to talk the powers that be into this being a good time for an upgrade

When I moved my 65 gallon tank about 5 years ago, I did everything in that post except I put the fish in the tub with the live rock. That was a bad idea, live rock shifted and some fish were crushed. I did do one thing that really helped, I purchased 5/8" plywood and cut hand hold holes into it. I then strapped the tank with ratchet tie downs and it made handling the tank with 3" of sand in the bottom a lot easier! I also used a battery powered air pump to pump air into the tub with the fish, you can find them at Walmart and are used for aerating bait buckets for fishing. Since your trip is longer I would suggest getting a power inverter that plugs into the cigarette adaptor and allows you to plug 110V items like your heater and air pump into it. I had to sell my tank after moving and have regretted it ever since and am just now getting back into the hobby. I was on this board before but I couldn't remmeber my screenname.

Forgot to mention or make clear; its only the live stock that will be problematic and distracting during the road trip. Your LR can go with you in a tub and its die off which should be minimal if shipped in a tub with SW will serve as an ammonia source to cycle the new tank set up.
Explain the situation to your LFS and he may give you cash for the fish and inverts. If not check to see if there is a reef club in your area who's members may be willing to take them on. This would be better than taking cash for them from the LFS IMO since they wont have to languish in a holding tank and eventually end up in god knows what kind of tank conditions.
If your feeling brave; go for it and try to get them through the trip.
