I use foxfire b/c my Husband is a programmer...which means he's also a Linux-head, and has infected every computer we own with it.
Firefox is good in that you don't get all the spam and popups and junk in the background that you do with explorer.
However... a lot of banks and credit card companies have created their websites around explorer, and it is therefore IMPOSSIBLE to pay bills or check account status using firefox. PNC, for instance, is very laggy and sometimes cuts out completely when you're on firefox.
I've also had a lot of trouble when buying things off of internet sites using firefox. It skips steps in the checkout process, and u never know until 4 weeks later when ur still waiting for your stuff and u call to complain and find out that your order never went thru.
This kind of thing has never happened to me with explorer.
So it might be a good idea to do what I do - use firefox for surfing, but for anything official, use explorer.

at g4techtv.com/attackoftheshow/thesarahlanefiles they have a link to damn good downloads click it and it will have all sorts of extensions you can download that are great and i believe there are ways to get around that mimzy

Yep, it's better than IE, no bugs.
can't play msn games either, and I can't see what books my local library has, firefox won't install whatever I need.
However, any time my husband uses IE, I get a ton of bugs and have to clean everything.

I've never had that problem. swf.com, ----, amazon, a scrapbook sit, walmart, ect. never had a problem with my bank either, I don't pay bill online, but I do transfer money. haha, a certain site is automatilly dashed out, guess ya'll know what site that was.
