MP10 OR MP40 HELP!!!

OK...I have one MP10W on my 54G corner BOW....I was planning on adding another, BUT
Was thinking....instead of 2 MP10's.....Can I use 1 MP40W??????
I may have found one used, and IF I CAN USE it....want to jump on it

I was told that a MP40 would be too much for my 55. I run 2 mp10's on my 55. I know vortech recommends on mp 40 and one mp 10 for my tank.

What if you don;t run it on full power...LOL
SEE I could either BUY 2 MP10's THAT IS if I move one to the 225G
OR....ONE MP40 that I found...and move the MP10 on the 54G to the back of the 225G

Honestly, I'd put the extra MP40 on your 225, leave the 10 on the 54 and hope to find another deal on another 10, lol. I think a 40 would be too much on the 54. Only thing that catches me is that it's a bow and they're harder for flow.
Is the 40 a wireless ES model?

I was thinking a third 40 instead of the 10. I know, not the answer you were looking for, lol.
I just don't know if a 40 would do it in the 54. My suggestion would be to try one for a few hours since you already own them.

I know you suggested a MP10 on the back wall of the 225G....WHEN you say use the 40 on the 225G are you suggesting also on the back wall...AND DON'T you think that would be TOO much then
I can wait and find another MP10...LOL....I just thought this was a good deal, and IF my first scenario would work...it would actually save me money in the long run

Try one of your 40's on the 54. It might work, I honestly don't know. After thinking about it, I'd still go with a 10 on the back wall of the 225.

OK.....forget the MP40 LOL....
BUT keep your eye out for me for some MP10's....I need a good deal LOL...I need one for sure and IF I do the one on the 225G then I'll need 2
BUT I am in no rush..

Contemplating 2 for the new tank.....Having 2nd thoughts on running 3 OM..... Not completely sure if they will handle and stay together on 1" acrylic??? A lot of claims they will, but I'd hate to spend that kind of cash and they fall apart.....I'd be paying their home office a visit, and demanding my cash back.....Still have thoughts of the crazing incident a while ago, and curious about as well.

That's a lot of bucks.....LOL....I want another MP10 or maybe MP40, BUT am looking to see if I can find a couple used....this LED has cost quite a bit, and until It is done...and HOPEFULLY I can sell this 72" outer orbit,...LOL....I need to be a little frugal

If you are talking about the site I think you are...you can't even see what's for sale unless you have a minimum amount of posts...and when I questioned that...MAN was the responses RUDE
I rarely go there because of that
