Mr. Tang... I need your help!!!

Dear Mr. Tang,
My Coral Beauty has a glossy eyeball (looks like it's coated grayish-white). When I bought him in the store, his skin near his eyes were somewhat blemished but the employee said that 'that's normal'. Well, now i have him in my hospital tank and he doing just fine, picking at algae and whatnot, but his eye is still coated. I have been using hyposalinity and he's doing ok, although i don't believe it's working :( . I've also been to the Disease and Treatment board but no one helped me  . Can you diagnose this disease and give me a possible treatment? Please! <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

Not sure what it is but it possibly is the beginnings of Popeye.
In the future NEVER buy fish that:
Have spots
blemmishes
torn fins
difficulty swimming
eratic swimming behavoir
repetative swimming: same swim path over and over
not eating
pinched sides or stomach
cloudy eyes
floating upside down
and Most of allDO NOT TRUST WHAT THE SELLER TELLS YOU!

Usually they just want to get rid of something because they know it is gonna die and they won't make money off it, or just plain don't have a clue of what a fish is and what sand is.
Try to shop better next time...Please.

Your CoralBeauty has cloudy eye. This is a bacterial infection, that if left untreated can make the fish lose eyesight in that eye. Use a medicine that kills the bacteria causing that coat over the eye. This is a disease that is induced by poor water quality. :D Good Luck

i'm on my way to get the antibiotics now... sorry that i didn't answer your question earlier... but thanks for responding with such stealth
