Mr. Yoo's 20G topless Nano Reef

Hi everybody,
I started my 20 gallon tank yesterday. Filled it up with salt water at 1.025, didn't add much exept for hermits and live sand with 1 piece of live rock. Currently, I'm braking down my 10 gallon with 2 ocellaris, 1 firefish, 1 bicolor blenny, few cerith snails, some soft corals and 2 small BTA. Next week I will order a 250W MH lighting with 15-25lbs of live rock.
My question is: for the filtration, I intend to keep it all biological wich means, 20lbs of live sand, 20lbs of live rock, gracilaria but more for the look than nutrient export, 2 Koralia Nano powerhead and part-time skimming (once a week). Will it be enough, or should I get a mechanical+chemical filter? And are Koralia Nano any good for a 20 gallon?

I've transfered some live rocks and gracilaria to the 20 gallon. I'm currently running a aquaclear 20 with floss, carbon and some bio media. I'm ordering the lights monday with 15-25lbs of live rock and a Fluval 105. I want a clean rockscape, I like to see alot of sand.
By the way, how can I bypass the picture size limit? And, will it be safe to put a conch with red legged hermits?

everything looks good, but i think a 250W MH a bit much, might have heat issues
I have no choice but to get a 250W MH because of the depth of my tank which is 16 inches but I will install it around 6 inches from the water level.

My pics are all 3000*3000 pixels and more lol, how do I bypass the picture limit?
upload then to photobucket and select size from there.
or open the pics in windows paint and hit CTRL+W and shrink them 50%, then save as jpeg.

When I added the big chunk of live rock in the tank, there was a bicolor that decided to move along with the rock lol :p. First I was afraid that it would die because the tank wasn't completely cycle but it survived! I guess the live rock and the live sand helped accelerate the cycle. Now I added my 2 clowns and a firefish! My clean-up crew is composed of 7 red legged hermits, 4 nass and 4 cerith. This week I will be ordering my halides! 250W 14 000K and adding new live rock from tonga, they are really nice! I will make a special design tought!
Oh and before I forget, what do you guys think about cowries? And what anemones are the best for hosting ocellaris?

150w should be plenty for your tank. 250 is overkill IMO.
Most Ocellaris will probably host a BTA. There is a link to what clowns will host what in the "new hobbyist/list of extremely helpful threads" section.

What kind of tank is this? How did you decide to go from all biological to a 105? Looks good so far, good luck!
First I will attempt with no 105, just power heads and live stuff.

The 150w and 250w are the same price for me so I will go with the 250w, I will hang it 4-6inches from the tank. Thanks for the anemone help!

You are prolly going to have heating problems. You honestly don't need that much light. What are you planning on keeping in this tank? If you are going to have a chiller then you might be alright though.
And......that is 12 watts of light per gallon!!!! You are prolly going to kill any corals going in there.
The 150 is plenty of light!! You should never need more than 6 watts of light per gallon. That is enough to keep a clam which prolly requires the most light out of anything we keep.

if you do have heat issues, get a fan to blow across the top.. Mine was gettin hot during the day and once i added my fan the tank was 79 all day and night
