I was at my LFS today and saw a fish stuck to the aquarium glass. I don't have a picture but what type of fish is it?

are you talking about a plecos? if there are marine species I dont know of them. Ugly Mofo's. I had a few in my freshwater years.

There are a couple fish it could be. Any chance you could describe it better? Shape/coloration/etc?
Any chance either if these are him?

I just caught a glimpse of it. It was definately shaped like the last of the three pictures. It was black and just stuck to the glass.

Deciding question, how big was it?
Over 4" possibility of a Remora, though Remoras are very distinctive, and I'd hope you could identify one even with a quick glance.

If it's around 2" or smaller, which I'm betting it is, most likely the last fish pic, which is a Clingfish.

When I worked at an LFS, we had a 30,000g tank...and their were remora (big one's) stuck on the glass. One of the single most common question was about those big pleco's in the tank...frustrating

you had a 30,000 gal tank at the fish store? that's sick. i was always under the impression that that dudes 20,000 gal reef (cant remember his name) and the two tanks at the atlanta aquarium were the biggest, but i guess that's just reef tanks...?
