murlina coral info

the other night i found a good deal on a murlina, the color and size look good, but after a while of hunting on the internet, i cant seem to find a whole lot of information about these corals, such as lighting needs, placement, and such. If anyone can inform me a little about these corals it would be much apreciated.

ok, so i found some information about this merulina, and it says that it is a difficult species to maintain. Does anyone out there have any experiences with these, are they similar to keeping montiporas or is it a species to stay clear of.

I have a pc. in my 29 biocube, actually a few pcs. I have not found it hard to keep at all. Here is a diddy from wetwebmedia.
Hardy once established, but easily broken, given to tissue recession at first, bleaching from lack of light. Most require strong lighting, moderate current.

as far as getting them establised to the tank. is it delicate to get them to take to the tank conditions. as of right now i have a very large monti that is doing great, im running 2-250w metal halides, would the merulina take hold if placed towards the top of tank

i think im going to try out this coral, im really getting into the sps after the fact that i have completed my tank with tons of polys, and softies. Besides calcium and the coral vite do they need anything else to thrive
