mushroom and leather question

Can a mushroom and leather coral touch?
Are they compatable or will they fight? Also, can they be in close quarters without touching?

if they touch they will fight. they can be close without stinging, but some leathers have the ability to release toxins into the water to kill any surrounding corals. it isnt goign to do all that much to mushrooms or your tank as a whole, but if you have sps youd notice a lot.

My toadstool was toching some mushrooms in my tank but didnt seem to bother either.

I have a couple mushrooms that are growing around my leather and touching them and in the past 6 months and no problems at all looks kinda cool imo!

My toadstool got to big for my 29 so i sold it and bought a new baby one It is still by itself but I liked it with all the corals around it as well.
