Mushroom Eating Peppermint Shrimp??

Does anyone know why a Peppermint Shrimp would eat one of our mushrooms? We checked the taxonomy and it is a true peppermint shrimp.

Yep some will do it, I had a couple that were eating rics, shrooms, killed a nem, and picked at my leathers. I had to get them out.

It happens when they are hungry as they are usually opportunistic feeders. Make sure he is getting fed and hopefully he will stop making snacks of your corals.
