I have moved my mushroom to a new location on my oyster perch and was wondering if its overhanging is detrimental to its health.
No Henry not the 60s mushrooms

Depends on how much, intently you stare at them in this state. Doing so could cause you;
(1) a strong awareness of living now and here (no past, no future, no there, just here and now)
(2) a strong feeling of 'uncensored perception' (seeing the real world) (3) the shift from a state of 'survival-consciousness' (geared to fulfilling ones needs, getting things done, avoiding dangers) to a 'let-go-consciousness' (there's nothing to do besides being part of the universe). However, if a person isn't able to let go and 'float on the flow' mushrooms
may cause severe fear and paranoia and heaven can turn into hell.

Joe, not sure if you are talking about a shroom hanging off the ledge (like pictured I think), or if you mean a overhanging ledge is blocking some light. In either case, I think you are fine. They will reposition slightly to get where they want to be, especially in the latter case, unless you superglued his butt to the shell which might make it a little more difficult for him to move.

And I have spent all this time looking in the sky for Lucy. Who would of thunk it.

Well it is a little hard to diferentiate the species, at first I thought teónanácatl,(Psilocybe Cyanescens Astoria Ossip) but I have only seen those in the dry form!!!!
