I got some green shrooms last weekend and they already look alittle bigger. What is the growth rate and how long do they take before they start spreading?
They seem to take a few months to settle in, but then they start spreading/growing pretty darn fast. Of course it depends on your system... lights, current, water quality, etc.
I guess some of them were fully spread out, some are flat and others are kinda wrinkled up. I touched a flat one and it wrinkled right up, so i guess some of them were getting use to the tank and settling in.
I have had zero mushroom spreading!
but my shrooms have gotten huge, bigger than I have seen most shrooms.
one red shroom has to be 7 or so inches across, but no spreading
Put them in a high flow area, and they will spread. I have a red one, that wasnt doing anything, and put more current on them, and already have two babies.
