Mushroom & Lighting Questions....

I have a 42 gallon Hex and I'm running 108 watts of PC lighting. I have lots of rock and lots of mushrooms which are all located by the bottom. They are growing fine but a few of my green ones haven't opened up all the way for a while. Any suggestions or tips would be much appreciated.

for mushrooms your lighting is adequate IMO. Obviously it could be better but at the sametime it could be worse. I suggest testing your water parameters and doing a water change. Mushrooms are very resilent and even ones that I have seen look close to dead came back. I would also recommend moving the struggling ones closer to the lights. What supplments are you dosing?

I have found that most of my mushrooms open up more in slightly shaded areas where they are 'reaching' for light. I run 2x250w MH and 2x110 VHO, and can't put them in direct light or they shrink up. Some of them have acutually moved into the shade on their own.
