I propagated my ricordea mushroom, but now I'm having a problem making them stick to the live rock.Does anyone have any tricks on getting them to stay put? Also I lost one part of the mushroom in the tank, will it survive?

i usually let mine drift around my tank so they start to stick to grains of sand. then use the grains of sand to glue to another rock or frag plud.
the piece you lost will most likely live.

get a little bowl or plastic container that isnt too deep, put some live sand little pieces of rick in there and put the pieces of mushroom in it, then put bridal mesh over it...then you dont have to worry about something blowing it aroubnd the tank or some critter running off with it

I am really new at forums so I hope I post this question right . :happyfish
I have a mushroom coral that I placed on a rock about midway in my tank. It keeps getting picked up by my sea urchin and I see it riding around the tank. I take it off and put it back but this has happened a couple times.
Should I keep putting it back or let it ride?
Also my receipt said "Umbrella Mushroom coral". Is this right? It is brown with green spots and little "legs" coming off the edge of the main circle.
