mushroom ?

I have 1 hairy mushroom that is about 9 in across. When I bought it, it was small attached to one little rock. I noticed that it is now attached to two rocks, one on each side of the middle. Could I cut this in half, and it would it turn into two mushrooms.
How would I do it? I can see where the center (mouth) is, should I cut directly through the middle?

Im pretty sure you cut it right through the center, mouth if you will and it should turrn into 2 shrooms todd

thanks for the quick responce, should i just take it out of the tank and cut it with a razor blade, then just stick it back in the tank.
any one else.
I would like to hear from a couple people.
