Mushrooms sick?

Do my mushrooms look sick to you? Also on this rock are my zoos. Very small and don't grow. Anyone have any ideas?

There are some white spots around the border of some of them. They just look droopy to me. Here's a px of when I first got them.

They don't look much different in the pics. The only thing I notice is that the color isn't quite as brilliant.
What kind of lights are they under? Do you add any supplements? Any current on them?

I add DT's about every other day. I'm using JBJ 4X65 lights. They don't get much current at all because they are in the lower left hand corner of the tank. Do they need more?

Might want to give them a little more current. That lighting should be fine for them. Never used DT's, so I don't know much about them. How about some Coral-Vite or Essential Elements?

not sure that mushrooms really benefit from phytoplankton. I could be wrong though.
Strange as it may sound, I can't grow green shrooms in my tank - blue, purple, red, orange, no problem. Green ones shrivel up and die every time....
Wierd huh?

Yep, you're right. I'm looking into some now on ----. Do you agree with Buzz about the current? I thought they liked low light and low current?

They will live just fine in low light. They won't look as good though.
They can't eat phytoplankton (but other stuff does).
I have some in nearly no flow in the Lagoon and they seem fine.

So would adding Coral-Vite or Essential Elements help along with new lighting?

I am not suggesting you blow them across the tank with current, but I think they may like a little current. But they don't absolutely "need" it.
How old are those bulbs?
Bang - you don't think they would benefit by any supplements?

Buzz - I'm not really sure how old the bulbs are because the guy I bought them from didn't tell me. I know I had to replace one of them when I first bought them in September because it didn't work at all. And one of the white bulbs I have now if very obvious in need of changing.
I knew what you meant by current. Just a breeze to help them flow a little? Right?

Not ones designed for filter feders- the only beneficial additives would be to keep water params within the norm- coral food benefits the sps most- too small for most LPS. Some softies with small polyps will also benefit- but for shrooms- not really....

If the new lights do not work, try moving them further away from the lights (if you have a ledge, try putting them partially under it, I see they are already on the bottom). My blues do not care for very much light. I put them under PCs about a year ago, and the ones in the middle to the top of the tank do not open much, but the ones at the bottom do. I have a few under a ledge with very little flow, and they seem to open the best.
