I just got some mushrooms for SWF.com. Thing is they werent on the rock once they reached my house. I dont want to have to buy some speical thing to put them in to attach them to some rock rubble but if i put them in a plastic bag with cuts in it and some rock rubble is that good or will that hurt them??

Make sure the dish you put them into is very shallow. I've done a lot of fragging and the corals that I've put in cups/deep containers always died from lack of flow.

i wouldnt put them in a bag as the water will probably go stale dont forget that corals put byproducts into the water too! a mushroom should take a god 2-3 days to settle and attach onto a rock but i have a trick that always works for me!
i put the mushroom on the rock, place a plastic fine holed mesh/netting around the rock and simply place lots of clean elastic bands around the rock preventing the mushroom from seeping out of the rock/net. have a try its a great way i always use it on ricordeas etc. let me know how it goes

I use netting around a rock, with rubber bands to hold the netting to the rock. Either way. Takes 2 or 3 days to re attach...real simple.
