mushrooms?????????

hey everyone, i have a question about where to put mushrooms. should they be on the bottom or middle or what?

Depends on the mushroom.....I think ricordeas need a little more light then lets say a red mushroom or a rhodactis.....I have them under pc's, T5HO's, and Metal halides in all different places in the tank

hey meowzer, thanks for responding.

well my deal is i had them on the bottom but after i got a green carpet i decided to move them they havent been happy so far. i have them under 2-250 metal halides with 4-54wat pc. do u think i should move them back towards the bottom. also im not sure what kind they are but they are red with green strippes in the middle of them.

HMMMM....sounds like red striped mushrooms...LOL....
How far did you move them?? Maybe you moved them too far up..too fast....

well i moved them back down towards the bottom, they already look so much better.
