This is my tank. I am 14 years old and this has been my project over the last couple months. Ive had some problems: bad outbreak of ich (killed yellow eyed tang, two false percula tangs, bangai cardinal, and a lawnmower blenny. )
I bought the liverock used so its got great coraline.
Whats in it:
~150 pounds play sand
~50 pounds used live rock
~60 pounds miselanious base rock. (tufa, lace, etc.)
~50 pounds homemade aragocrete
~2 green chromis
~1 scisortail goby
~1 catalina goby
~around 50 hermit crabs
~around 15 margarits snails
~xenia
~some tree thingy (if you know the name PLEASE tell me...i sound stupid
saying tree thingy)
~15 polyps of zooanthoids
~many mushrooms
equipment:
~2 marineland 400s
~maxi jet 1200
~maxi jet 400, 600
~coralife fixture (power compact 4 65 watt 2 10,000k 2 actinic) I want to upgrade to t5

I have had constant algae. know how to get rid of it?

have you done anything recent to the tank right before they died, like in the span of a couple days?

I dosed with some reef safe ich killer-stuff, then my mushrooms looked funny do I stopped, then theu got more ich. I went to the store and got a cleaner shrimp, but they didnt bother with him. the ich attack was about 3 weeks ago. now when a fish gets a spot, it goes straight to the shrimp and it is then perfectly clean! it cleaned my 2 chromis who were covered in ich in only a couple days.
maybe this link is better for the pics:

I dunno what your budget is, but I got a used 48inch coralife aqualight pro for sale, only 6 months old..
2x250w MH, 2x96 PC ACT, 3x1w LED moonlights, 3 cooling fans, 2 ballasts.. $500 shipped within the continental USA... It's an $1100 fixture brand new.. I just don't need that much light on a FOWLR, that's why its for sale.
